After having recently strengthened its International Trade and Financial Markets teams, Araújo e Policastro Advogados is pleased to announce the acquisition of Lanna Peixoto Advogados, with the admission of Bruno Lanna Peixoto as new partner and head of the Antitrust and Competition practice area.

Before founding Lanna Peixoto Advogados, Bruno was an attorney at the Antitrust Department of the Ministry of Justice (SDE) where he held positions in the Merger Control Division and in the Anticompetitive Practices Division. He earned his Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the University of Chicago and is Vice-Chair of the International Antitrust Law Committee of the American Bar Association, Section of International Law (ABA).
Bruno has represented merging companies in complex international transactions in a variety of industries. He has also distinguished experience in multifaceted competition litigation, having represented leading Brazilian and global companies in investigations concerning cartelization and unilateral conducts before CADE. In addition, he has obtained landmark decisions in private actions in federal and state courts. He is a lecturer in international seminars and meetings and has published academic studies in American law journals and several articles on Brazilian competition law in international publications.
