After celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2013, Araújo e Policastro remains focused on building the future of the firm and further developing its practices. “We’re proud of our achievements and the way paved. In fact, after recently strengthening its team in the Corporate Practice Area, through the lateral hiring of Eduardo Fazoli, the firm now announces the addition of Jorge Henrique Zaninetti as a new partner to its Tax Practice Group.
Cofounder Theodoro Araújo says, “the recent lateral hirings of very talented lawyers who share our core values of excellence and ethics is a further step towards the continuous growth and improvement of the firm. Both Eduardo and Jorge are very skillful lawyers with substantial experience and solid careers and will certainly enrich the services provided to our clients”.
Jorge Henrique Zaninetti has extensive experience in consulting and tax litigation, acquired through more than 20 years of practice. Jorge was a tax partner at Siqueira Castro Advogados and TozziniFreire Advogados and worked at Mattos Filho Advogados as well as in the tax consulting area of both KPMG and Ernst & Young.
Jorge holds a law degree (LL.B.) from the University of São Paulo Law School (USP), with specialization in Corporate Law. He also attended the North American Legal Methods and Advanced Corporate Transactions Program at the George Washington University in Washington, DC, United States. Jorge is the author of books, articles and comments published in newspapers and specialized magazines.
